Many new WordPress designers and programmers struggle with a mysterious heading appearing in the static page for posts, which reads as “Mindblown: a blog about philosophy.” and looking at ways and means to remove Mindblown: a blog about philosophy from wordpress static page.
Additionally the footer saying some “book recommendation and get in touch.” can also be removed following same steps.
If you’re using WordPress as your blogging platform, you may have noticed that by default, it comes with a blog page called “Mindblown: a blog about philosophy.” This page displays all of your recent blog posts in chronological order.
While this is great if you want to use WordPress as a traditional blog, it may not be what you want if you’re using WordPress for a different purpose, such as creating a website or online store.
So here are the steps to remove the same or customise as per your requirement.
Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Editor
Templates -> Home
Now in WYSWIG editor you can modify the unwanted lines….
Voila the job is done and you could successfully remove Mindblown: a blog about philosophy from wordpress static page. Now you have a customised static page for all your blog posts as per your content.
Tweet or Like the post and spread the word for this small trick….
The issue has also been asked at this linked page and a similar solution has been given at the official wordpress site, but it is not very clear in steps, due to non availability of images of the required steps.
